During that period she was responsible for overseeing all creative and business direction — shaping the company to sell a majority share to Sony Pictures Television this year. Her new role now consists of Board Chairperson and Strategic Advisor, as well as leading EP on all Anthony Horowitz dramas.
Since starting the company, Jill has executive produced Foyle’s War, New Blood, Vexed, and atmospheric thriller Safe House.
More recently, Jill executive produced three seasons of the widely popular spy series Alex Rider for Amazon/Freevee and Sony. Magpie Murders launched in the US on Masterpiece in October 2022 to rave reviews and is now showing on BBC1 and iPlayer. A distinctive reimagining of “Robyn Hood”, helmed by Director X and in co-production with Boat Rocker Media and Luti Media, premiered on Global TV in September 2023.
Jill executive produced a new fresh take of Sir Ian Rankin’s bestselling Rebus novels, written by Gregory Burke and starring Richard Rankin, Moonflower Murders, the sequel to Magpie Murders, and Paramount+ thriller The Killing Kind. She is currently Executive Producer on Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, an original thriller from Anthony Horowitz which Eleventh Hour is producing for MGM+ and BBC.
Previously, Jill set up and ran Greenlit Productions for 12 years, where 29 feature length films of Foyle’s War were first generated alongside award winning Collision and the feature film The American starring George Clooney. Alongside her work with Eleventh Hour Films, Jill is on the Board of Aldeburgh Cinema (previously Artistic Director of the Aldeburgh Documentary Festival) and is working with Suffolk Films on a short film festival. She previously spent 6 years on the board of Chichester Theatre, where she maintains close contact.
